My friend whose blind is used to her older IPhones that had a home button. She used to double tap the home button to close apps, but she doesn't know how to close apps on this phone using voice reognition.

While apps cannot be entirely shut down, he can say "Go Home" or "Go to Home Screen" to exit the current running app and return to the Home Screen.

I have found out that if you turn on voice control in settings by going to Accessibility, Voice Control, and turning it on, you can just say “Go home” and it will go home. You don’t need to say “Hey, Siri” or anything. I am not sure if there is a way to close it, though.

On phones without a Home button, you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen and that will take you back to the home screen as well.
How can I close apps with Voice Recognition on iPhone?
