Page Numbers in Table of Contents are oprhan lined after adjusting margins

Hey community,

As in the picture, I cannot get page numbers of headers and sub headers to stay within the same line after adjusting the document margins. Before adjusting the margins, everything looks fine and numbers are aligned. After changing the margins, the page numbers jump to the next line within the TOC.

I already checked all headers are formatted with the formatting feature, turned page numbers on and off again, closed and re-opened Pages. Changing the indentation does not help, netiher does changing font size or line spacing. I am out of my depth. Help?

Hi Lucas,

Click on the Table of Contents to select it.

Menu > View >Show Rulers.

The right indent is outside the right page margin.

Drag the right indent to the left.

Regards,

Ian.
