How do I fix overlapping tables in Numbers app on my iMac and iPad?

I went to use this table today and this is what I see. It looks like two tables are overlapping. There is a Table 1 and a table 1.1. I've closed it out and reopened it and it's still this way. I used it recently and didn't make a copy of the table. Please help. This is on my iMac but it is the same on my iPad. How do I fix this? I don't want to lose this info.

You may have had the option button down and dragged the table by mistake. That will create a duplicate.

Also, could have just typed Command-D with the table (or any cell in the table) selected. That will duplicate the table, and place the duplicate slightly offset left and down from the original. which looks like what happened here.

Thanks but I just figured it out. I couldn't separate them to see the individual tables so I wasn't comfortable trying to delete it. I did get them separated and just copied the original one and made a new file. Thanks anyway for getting back with me so quickly. I just don't know how this happened in the first place.

This issue is resolved.
