AirPods allowed for Hearing Test but not for Hearing Aid feature in Spain

Why are Spain not allowing AirPodPro2 hearing assistance, but allowing the hearing test? It does not make sense. I have had to return mine, very disappointed. I am going to the US soon, if l purchased the AirPods there, will they work in Spain?

That’s an issue for your regulatory agency in Spain, not Apple.

Not helpful, why are Apple then trying to get the regulation changed in the UK and Spain. The question l am trying to find out about, is why Spain and the UK are denying the hearing assistance.

Again, you would need to ask the regulators. Presuming, of course, that Apple is even seeking certification for a medical device.
