saving a numbers table template with no borders

i've created a table with custom styles which include the following attributes:

  • alternating row colors (gray and clear) containing cells with no borders
  • header with a solid color fill and no borders
  • no sidebar or footer
  • no table outline
  • no gridlines

however when i save this table as a style template, it does not save all styles. instead, when applying my custom style to any blank or formatted table, it does the following:

  • adds borders to the header row
  • adds a title

i've tried using the override styles and saving it as a template file to no avail. how can save a custom table to include exact attributes assigned?
