Position of body text on the page is incorrect

I have a document where the body text is incorrectly placed on the page. The intention is for the body text to be a column that takes 2/3 of the right side of the page, but should go top to bottom. Below you can see the the body text is correctly the 2/3 column width, but should start immediately below the header. There is a large gap that is wasting space.

How do I control the bounding box of the body text?

I put that up just on the off chance you hadn't looked.

If the original template was one of the CV templates they have a bug in them that has a fixed huge margin.

The only way around will be to construct the document from scratch using a document that uses your margins. Use one of the "Blank" templates.

Document Window > Toolbar > Document (far right) > Document Margins > Adjust Left and Top

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the screen shot. The ruler shows that the left indent (and the first line indent) are umm... indented.

Drag them to the left to line up with zero on the ruler.

Or, change the indents in the right hand panel > Format > Text:

That indent stops at the edge of the body text. It can't be moved any further left. I tried that too - many times as it seemed like it should be the way to do it, but no luck.

I think there is a body text offset somewhere, but if so I can't find it.

I don't know where this template came from, or how to even find it. There is no template setting in the document that I can find. Even so, a template should just set this up, and it should be changeable somehow.

What template did you use to create that document? I remember some years ago there was a template that had that strange behaviour.

The document margins are already at the minimum, and the position is still incorrect. I had tried that earlier and thought it should be the answer as well, but no luck...
