I used the EX24 samoler to build an instrument as the regular sampler couldn't deal with the low frequency pitches. Everything works fine on the sampler keyboard but when I use mIDzi it plays wrong notes

Here’s the procedure. I’ve got separate files of notes in numerical order, produced by splitting them into regions from a single audio file. When Logic does this it sometimes calls the lowest pitch $whatecer_bio .aif so rename it to $whatever_00.aif.
At this point, if it’s first time, open library and save this as “empty sampler file”

I have spent some time with Sampler (Not EXS24 specifically) and I always found this to be odd as well.
I usually just change the root key manually and that fixes it for me. Quick Sampler exhibits this same behavior.
You would think that these settings within Logic Pro would help, but I have not found that to be true.
