Using stem splitter on logic with audio that was recorded into logic from another mac

My stem splitter is greyed out in this situation. Are there any work-around for when I am recording an mpeg song I have on my Mac air into logic running with Mac mini, and using MOTU m6 interface

Mac mini, macOS 15.5

Stem Splitter only works on Silicon Macs and very likely Rosetta disabled. Just transfer the file onto a computer that is capable using Stem Splitter.
