Logic Remote not working with Logic Pro

After checking that both devices are on the same network....

Quit the Logic Remote app:

In Logic, go to Logic Pro> Control Surfaces >Setup

Select the iPad device in the setup window and delete it

Restart the Logic Remote app

I have experinced this. It was only resolved by resetting the SMC and PRAM. You may need to flush your DNS cache.

1. Connect both devices on the same WiFi.
2. Start Logic Pro on your Mac
3. Start Logic Remote on your iPad Pro

You can reverse steps 2 and 3, just know that if you start Logic Remote on your iPad first, your Mac won't appear until Logic Pro is running on your Mac.

I started Logic Remote on my iPad first. When I started Logic Pro on my Mac mini, I saw it in the Connect list briefly, and then the screen below popped up.

He's got a Mac mini. Silicon Macs handle SMC and PRAM reset automatically when shutdown and restarted. Manual SMC and PRAM reset is only necessary on Intel-based Macs.
