Am no expert in this area, however your request certainly deserves a response.

ie: A hearing professional may have the best advice.

If you take a hearing test, or already have a result / or if you have an audiogram from a hearing-professional,

that can be used with AirPods Pro 2: Use the Hearing Aid feature on your AirPods Pro 2 - Apple Support

For other earphones:

Wondering if your earphones are compatible with iPad's "Hearing Accomodations:

Customize headphone audio levels on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"Headphone Accommodations works with these headphones:

  • AirPods 2, 3 and 4 (both models)
  • AirPods Max
  • AirPods Pro 1 and 2
  • Apple EarPods (with 3.5mm Headphone Plug or Lightning Connector)
  • Beats Fit Pro
  • Beats Solo Pro
  • Powerbeats
  • Powerbeats Pro
  • Powerbeats Pro 2"

If yours are in the above list, you might want to click on above link, and browse through that article.

Else: There is a "balance slider" for left / right balance, and adjusting that may or may nor suit your needs

(The slider is usually set in the middle : You can experiment with it to see if that works for you.):

To adjust the balance slider on your iPad: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio & Visual (scroll down).

All the best :-)
