Unauthorized Apple Account charges on bank card

Hello Apple Support,

I have noticed unauthorized charges of about $6 on my bank card ending with 1409. These charges appear to be linked to an Apple ID account that does not belong to me.

I kindly request:

1. Identifying the Apple ID that is using my card.

2. Removing my card from that account immediately.

3. Refunding the unauthorized charges if possible.

Please note that I never authorized the use of my card on any Apple ID other than my own.

Thank you for your support.

Name: Younes

Card: 1409

Date of charge: 29/08/2025

Amount: $6,99

  • Does the charge appear here:

  • Are you an Organizer of a Family Sharing plan that uses Purchase Sharing? This authorizes members to bill your payment method and the charges will appear under their Apple Account. If you are the Organizer, you will also be able to view their purchases using the link above.

If the answer to both of those are NO, then you dispute the charge the same way you would dispute any other fraudulent charge. You contact your bank and report the fraudulent charge. They will need to block any future attempts and also issue you a new card.

It sounds like your credit card number has been compromised and that could have happened from a phishing message or using the physical card on a terminal that had a skimmer installed to read a card number. If a person added that card to their phone, it is not Apple that approves/denies the card, that is what your bank does with the information from the device that is sent to your bank.
