How can I select all regions in a track in Logic Pro?

Normally I can select all of the regions in a track by double-clicking the track header of the track I whose regions I want to select.

But sometimes that doesn't work.

Now, for example, when I double-click on a track header, instead of all of the track's regions being highlighted, a blue rectangle appears around the track's name in the track's header and the track's regions remain unhighlighted.

I tried also Edit > Select > All following of same track, but that, too, doesn't highlight all the regions of a track.

Hi

First, go to Logic Pro > Settings > General and select the Editing tab

Make sure "Select regions on track selection" is checked

With this activated, selecting a track (with a single click) all regions on that track will be selected

UNLESS you have the Cycle function switched on....

Then all regions within the cycle area will be selected

You need to select one region first?

Thanks, gentlemen.

I already had "Select regions on track selection" selected.

However, you just gave me a clue, so I was able to figure this out. When I noticed this problem, I had been looking at several tracks which were to the right of the cycle region. When I scrolled left – to include the cycle regions – I could see that only the regions to the right of the cycle region were unselected and the regions inside the cycle region were selected. Also, you're right; I only need to click once in the track header to select all the cycle regions, and click twice to select the track name.
