Missing 'Report as Spam' option for phone calls in iOS Phone app

So for TEXT messages, there is an option to report as Spam and Delete, but for phone calls, all you can do is block.

Why is there no option to report the spam calls (that weren't detected as Spam calls)????

Those calls also leave a voice message, why is there no way to report that voice message as spam and a scam?

First, if it is a true spam call there is no point in blocking it or even reporting it, because the spammer will use a different phone number for each message, so just delete it. You can add an app like NoMoRoBo, which will filter calls against a master list and send any numbers that match their 12 million (and growing) identified spam sources to voicemail. Your carrier may also offer an app that identifies suspected spam through the network origin of the call and actually block it. But AT&T’s s**ks. Verizon’s is a little better.

If you see a pattern to calls (such as calls from an area code where you don’t expect any calls) there is app called Number Shield that will let you filter calls using a pattern, such as 609-***-****, which will block all calls from the 609 area code.
