deleting files from iCloud but not MacBook
I would like to delete files from iCloud but not from my macbook

Files that are in your iCloud Drive on the Mac are copied to iCloud Drive at iCloud.com.
If you don't want a file copied to iCloud, then move it out of iCloud Drive on your Mac and into some other folder. You'll be able to see that disappear from iCloud Drive at iCloud.
