Can the new Apple iPhone 17 Air be used with AR Glasses
Because the iPhone 17 Air uses a mini USB it does not have a Display out and therefore cannot be used with AR Glasses
Is this true?If so is there any workaround?

It has a USB C port, not a mini USB port.
Port speed on the Air is limited to USB 2. From what I have seen, you will not be able to drive a display device from it as you can with recent Pro devices.

Are you referring to an Apple Product, which is currently not yet available (AR Glasses)? It's true Apple 17 Air does not have a USB C DisplayPort Alt Mode, which from what I've read may be required to work with Apple AR Glasses. But again, the iPhone Air isn't in anyones hands and Apple AR Glasses haven't been released. It this is something which you need for future compatibility, perhaps the iPhone 17 Air isn't the best choice for you.
I hadn’t realised they meant future Apple AR glasses, but surely they would look a tad nerdy with a cable running to your pocket!

If that was true the same would apply to iphone 15 and 16.
Depending on the glasses they would surely connect by Bluetooth or wifi?
As if they wouldn't be nerdy enough without the wires...
Brings to mind the glasses frames I saw when I got a new scrip and glasses a few weeks ago. Hearing aids built into the stems. I thought, wow! That would be great!... but the frames are basically what we used to call BC glasses back in the day... Those were the heavy black plastic framed glasses the government issued to the military.
10 points to the first person to correctly guess what "BC" stands for.

I'd think you're referring to "Drew Carry?" If you are, that was a well written clue, btw!
We have a winner!
