Why does Safari keep logging me out of websites?

7th generation iPad. IOS 18.6.2. Just recently I’m having to constantly log in again to websites I use daily. Ones that commonly kept me logged in. I’m not talking about financial or medical sites but things like social media or shopping. Another user posted this same question in Feb and the thread was closed with no suggestions or answers other than search community notes. When I search I don’t get any relevant or helpful results. What’s happened to Apple discussions, they used to be much more helpful.

For now please review If Safari isn't loading websites or quits on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Don't omit any steps. For example the following passage explains the most common reason:

If you're using a VPN (Virtual Private Network), check your VPN settings. If you have a VPN turned on, some apps or websites might block content from loading.

... or, you get randomly logged out as you describe.

If you continue to experience problems remaining logged in to websites by all means write back for suggestions.
