Safari 26 bookmarks bar disappearing after restart

In Safari 26 I see that the favorites bookmark bar does not stay open in the left column after closing and restarting Safari. Any setting stop preclude this issue?

Found solution. If you click on the "..." in upper right corner and select compact and uncheck show folders on top the bookmarks remain.
