QuickBooks Desktop for Mac 2019 on macOS 26 Tahoe

Does anyone know if QuickBooks Desktop for Mac 2019 works on macOS 26 Tahoe? I’d like to finish the year and then transition to the Online version in January. Thank you.

Mac Studio, macOS 15.6

There is a difference between compatibility and support. It is not supported but it doesn't mean it isn't compatible. I have been running on Sequoia which is also not supported. Monterey (macOS 12) was the last officially supported OS.

I believe there was a big uproar at Sonoma because it didn't work, but they fixed it. The problem has been that the online version was missing features of the desktop version which is why I didn't switch at the beginning of this year. It looks like the feature I needed has been added (mileage tracking with reimbursement through progress invoicing) so I am ready to switch on Jan 1 when I start a new fiscal year.

I've installed it on my laptop and I don't see any issues at all. I'll know for sure after the end of the month when I send out invoices and receive payments. If those all work, I'm going to upgrade my desktop.

if in doubt about your third party app—if in doubt search the developers website or contact their: Support/Help/FAQ/Known issues/compatibility/updates…

Your best bet is to backup your data to two separate distinct locations, and create a separate partition to install Tahoe to test it out.

I would also ask Intuit to update their website as soon as they know compatibility.

If you prove it is compatible, you can also update the third party listing at https://roaringapps.com/apps?platform=osx
