How can I set one background color for all contacts in iOS 26?

On my iPhone 16 Pro Max iOS26 the background color in contacts seems to be picked by the system based on the background of the original photo. I’m unable to change it by customizing the contacts icon. How can I get all my contacts on the same or default background without having to change them individually?

Perhaps suggest some changes be made to either

the iOS in a later update; or a means to adjust the

issue, by another way.. They're genius' after all!

.Because the area of issue in your instance is not

an App or within a wider iOS, try 'iPhone' instead.

Experiencing the same thing—white font on a lavender background in contacts which is hard to read. I went to accessibility in settings then display/text size. Turned off “reduce transparency” and that seemed to help. Just did this so not sure if it’ll negatively impact other things but am going to give it a try. Hopefully they’ll fix this in next version.
