From where did you purchase those AirPods? I suggest you return them. It is almost impossible to identify fake AirPods. So it is best to purchase them directly from Apple or an Apple authorized seller.
I purchase them from Jbhifi store in Western Australia.
I think they are an authorised dealer, they are an electrical store with many branches.
