iOS 26 Health App will not connect to Blood Pressure Monitor Data

I use an Omron blood pressure monitor and its associated Omron Connect app on an iPhone 12.

After updating to iOS 26 (with its new blood pressure monitoring function) Omron Connect has stopped transferring data to the iOS Health app, which now prompts me to enter the data manually. This seems like a big step backwards in a crucial health-care function.

I have tried resetting various data sharing functions, to no avail.

OK, I have solved this problem, at least for my Omron blood pressure monitor. Similar steps may work for other manufacturers.

Step 1. Update the BPM app to the most recent version. For Omron Connect, this means you need at least version 8.0.4, which was issued on October 25, 2025.

Step 2. In the Apple Health App:

Tap the "Sharing" icon at the bottom of the screen

Scroll down to find and tap "Apps"

Select the App for your BPM and then select the data that you want it to write into the Health App, and (if you need it) the data that you want your BPM app to read from the Health App.

Step 3. In the Omron Connect App:

Tap "More" in the bottom right corner of the Home Screen.

Tap "Profile"

Tap "App Settings"

Scroll down to a window marked "Share data with other apps" and make sure that Apple Health is activated. In my case the icon was present in the window but it needed to be tapped to activate it.

Hope this helps!

I had the same issue - most annoying - but after re-pairing my Omron X4 (pairing achieved in the Omron Connect app and NOT the IOS Bluetooth pages) it still failed.

After checking the various permissions in Health and Omron apps (see above comments), you need to check the following- it then all worked fine.

In Omron Connect, click Profile/App Settings then click on the Health App in "share data" area - for some reason, I was unlinked - just click link.

Hope that helps.

I have the same issue with my Easy at Home blood pressure cuff and iOS 26 on my iPhone 14 Pro using the MyHeartPal app that came with the machine. The Health app on the iPhone does not see the MyHeartPal app in the privacy settings so I can’t grant permission’s required. I’m currently waiting on a reply from Easy at home tech-support but it’s likely an iOS issue as well.

I am having the same exact problem with Apple Health showing the blood pressure details from the SmartHealth app. The data shows in SmartHealth and in Apple Health I have all the settings set correctly and when I tap the Blood Pressure item in Apple Health it shows the calendar with all the days having recorded blood pressure - but there are no details of those blood pressure items - this was working fine until mid-May and I only noticed it a few weeks ago. I have tried toggling settings etc but the detailed data just doesn't show up.
