iPhone 17 Pro - phone app almost unusable (display)

I just found the fix for this. Settings>Display & Brightness> Display Zoom. Had mine on “Larger Text”, switched it to “Default”. Reset phone and my phone keypad is back to normal without green button obscured. I did prefer the Larger text, but hated what it did to my phone keypad. Hope they will fix this in an update so Display Zoom works as intended.

Restart your phone. It's fine for me.

If you go back in through “accessibility” and then “display and text size” you can increase the text without the keypad getting messed up.

What happens if you press the Magnifying glass? Did user LD150 suggestion of tapping screen with three fingers not do anything to un zoom screen?

No, it was fixed in 26.1

Thank you so much for that information. I’ve been into the store, I’ve been on the phone with tech-support and nobody was able to help me. It was absolutely maddening that the screen was like that. Now it’s back to normal. I didn’t do a reset because I did that yesterday and lost a lot of data and spent hours trying to restore it.

OMG!!! Thank you. I ran into then in the works moment: trying to call 911. And then I was so flustered I could not remember how to use the "SOS Emergency Call" feature that pops up when I turn the phone off. (Duh.)

Fortunately I was with someone else and they were able to make the call on their phone and the emergency could be addressed. But seriously, this is terrible. Apple, people need to be able to call 911... and random numbers found on flyers or whenever else we need to dial a number.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I have the same issue. Tried resetting phone several times, even did a factory reset and started over but it still persists.
