Desktop icon widgets are faded
On my MacBook, my icon widgets and style setting is set to clear and auto. However my widgets on the dock look faded in color rather than clear.
MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 26.0
I had an issue where when I set the icons to Clear > Dark, they displayed in color when they shouldn't. It was the only setting that was wrong. It's probably caused by a corrupt .plist file but I couldn't figure out which one. I solved it by reinstalling Tahoe from Recovery.
Someone else may know a different solution.
