Purchased the AirPods Pro 3 went to take the hearing test and kept getting after the left ear kept getting the couldn't complete I assume because of external noise so I took it like four times and moved around to quieter rooms and could not get it to get past there any help ?

Have you tried a different sized ear tip on the left side? It may not fit quite right.
I seem to recall reading that someone got this to work by wrapping their head in a towel. It is of course, well with in the realm of possibility that 1) I am misremembering or 2) someone made it up.
Classic "old-age" hearing loss is in the high frequencies, where shooshing noises from a fan would show up.
In speech, part of what disappears is the ability to differentiate certain consonant sounds, especially these:
SH, K, P, T
