After soft resets network resets deleting vpn app, factory reset and then contacting apple chat support who got me to do a rest all settings 40 hrs later and my WiFi download speed has dropped again back to 25 mb from 150mb , just have to hope 26.1 iOS has a resolution if not a trip to the Genius Bar !!!! Very frustrating

Wi-Fi Bugs After an Update:

Well, there’s most central plenty of bugs reported on these forums for the most-recent update releases. So,…

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

Troubleshooting Slow iPhone WiFi:

Five Thoughts:

A. Clear Temporary Internet Files:

If Safari is slow, try clearing out your Temporary Internet FilesHistoryCache, and Cookies

Go Here: Clear your Safari browser history and set up content blockers on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

B. Try manually restarting your iPhone:

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Select: General
  3. Scroll to: the Very Bottom
  4. Select: Shut Down
  5. Slide Finger: to the Right
  6. Wait: 30 Seconds
  7. Power One: the iPhone
  8. Try this Once More

C. Is Cellular Data ALWAYS Enabled?:

Cellular Data always overrules Wi-Fi. So, if applicable, disable Cellular Data, if enabled and see if you get Wi-Fi to work as intended.

D. Troubleshooting Connectivity:

Wi-Fi: If your iPhone won’t Connect to a Wi-Fi Network - Apple Support

if nothing above works...

E. Reset All Network Settings to Default:

Example of items that will be reset: (Wi-Fi Passwords, VPN Connections, etc)

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Tap: General
  3. Tap: Reset
  4. Tap: Reset Network Settings.
  5. Enter: [Your Passcode]
