Since updated to Tahoe my preview workflow has been interrupted. Used to be I can resize and change resolution to any image I want but with Tahoe the resolution keeps getting stuck at 72. I have embedded a youtube clip to show what I mean.

It appears jpg's are always set to 72 ppi. Other formats can be changed.

I thought this as well and I exported around a 150 jpeg into png in a different folder. Then I applied resizing and resolution upscaling on the png. For some reason apart from the first two images the rest got converted back to jpeg and resized without changing the resolution. The first 2 images did what I wanted it to do.
MacOS26 Preview does not change resolution of images. It is stuck at 72 ppi
