Issues with iOS 18.7 upgrade

BACKGROUND:

Two iPhones, 12 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max.

14 Pro Max has the phone #

12 Pro Max is a bedside convenience if any security cameras

trigger during the night.

Both kept as mirror images of each other.

( Sets of Apps & ‘Add To Home Screen Shortcuts’ ).

Both have worked flawlessly through every iOS update.

Until now.....recently upgraded both to iOS 18.7.

12 Pro Max continues to work normally.

14 Pro Max had many issues with Apps and ‘Home screen

Shortcuts’ being lost.

Uninstalling / re-installing them fixed most of their problems.

A couple on ‘Home Screen Shortcuts’ still make me log back

in every time.

Tired of putting up with it want to return to iOS 18.6.2.

Can’t find a way to do that, so I even looked into ‘Recovery’.

But that appears to force the recovery to an odd iOS 26 version.

QUESTION FOR THE APPLE BRAIN TRUST:

How can I get my 14 Pro Max back to iOS 18.6.2  ?

Thanks
