Greyed-out songs on iPhone 17 Pro Max during iTunes sync

i Have a new iphone 17 pro max. im in the process of syncing music to my iphone. however a few songs are greyed out in device menu but still play on my iphone. a few songs wont play at all on the iphone but do play in itunes fine. i've resynced the iphone several times and removed and reinstalled the music as well with no luck. this never happened on my old iphone 12 pro max. i do have ios 26 on my iphone. i do not use icloud. all my music is on my windows 10 pro pc. im at a loss as to why random songs are greyed out but play on the iphone while other song dont. All the music is ripped onto my computer in AIFF format from CD's.
