I have just upgraded to Tahoe 26.0 on my macbook air. Using either Safari or Chrome the search function at both Home Depot and Lowe's is innoperable. Please help.

Yes, thank you. I had font size set larger on both Safari and Chrome for easier viewing. When I set both back to "normal" size the search bar on both reatail sites re-appeared fully and was operational. Thanks!

You are welcome. It has nothing to do with Tahoe (OS 26), and the Home Depot site specifically has been that way for many years. It is basically a poor web design, that they don't seem too concerned about. And thank you for the update, that is truly what makes this support site work.
Working fine for me...
Try shutting down your Mac then starting it back up. Do you have extension installed? Try booting in Safe Mode, which disables 3rd party extensions and performs some system cleanup.
Try going to Safari > View > Actual Size, and select if it is not greyed out. If the page is zoomed in, the search bar on the Home Depot page will go away.
Search works fine for me in Safari, Firefox and Brave.
