Combining numeric, text and formatted date

Call A1 contains a numeric value e.g. 57. Cell A2 contains text e.g. widgets. Today's date is 29/09/2025

Can I enter something into cell A3 that says "We sold 57 widgets on Monday 29th September 2025"

At the moment my only solution seems to be a formula with CONCATENATE. Is there an easier solution? Many thanks,

Update - my problem was the formatted date, but I found that if I stored the date, formatted in a separate cell, then CONCATENATE was simple. Originally the formula was parsing each element of the date separately and it was a pain.

All sorted, but I couldn't figure out how to delete this query. Sorry, Stephen

CONCATENATE() is one solution, but you can also just string the cell values together with &.

Assuming the quantity, description and date values are in B2, C2, and D3, you could just:

="We sold " & B2& " " &C2& " on " &D2
