Since updating, my Apple Watch no longer vibrates or makes any sound. It doesn’t ring for alarms or timers, even though I have the breakthrough silence mode enabled. And it no longer vibrates or shows notifications at all without me having to check myself.

Does this work if you disable all Focus modes on the watch and iPhone?
I guess, you have already to force restarted your iPhone and Apple Watch?

Did you check the settings for Sounds and Haptics in the settings app on the watch?
I had to turn all haptics to ON for both the phone & the watch to get them to work. Now I’m trying to figure out what I can turn off so I don’t get a buzz on my wrist every time someone thinks about me.
Did you set up your watch as a new device, without using the latest backup, in case the issue is part of the backup data?
Same issue. No audio or haptics. Alarms doesn’t work because if it and the water eject function doesn’t make any sound or vibrations. Went to the Apple Store and they said all the diagnostic tests were fine and it didn’t look like a hardware issue but they can’t do anything so I have to wait and see if there’s a update to watchOS 26.0.2. Very frustrating.
I did both, and neither helped. My watch randomly started working again after numerous hard resets.
Even with disabling all focus modes, I still don’t have any sound or haptics on my Apple Watch. I’ve tried restarted and also factory resetting my Apple Watch and that also didn’t work. Both the Apple Watch and my iPhone are on the latest OS versions.
Yes, all of that is enabled and sound is on. Even if I take off silent mode, my watch never makes a sound for notifications or at all entirely. I tested it out when trying to select a different text tone and no sound. There’s no haptics either. My watch won’t alert me at all for notifications.
Same & I’ve talked to others with the same issue. My ringer on my phone is vibrate only but I am not getting any notifications from timer, phone, or texts. All used to vibrate in my watch. Also went through the steps suggested above before I came to the message board.
Has anyone had any problems with Gmail notifications not coming through at all on their Apple Watch anymore? I always got a haptic when I'd get a new Gmail (and not Mail) and it quit working. The notifications in general have been pretty wonky in iOS 26. I feel like I have checked every notification setting there is for the iPhone, Watch... I can't figure it out. One of the best features of the Watch, for me, is that I'm notified when I get a new email. I don't use the Mail app because it sends me things I don't want to see (like promotional emails, etc.) and Gmail does not do that.
I have an iPhone 14 Max Pro and Apple Watch 9. Both are on iOS 26 and the latest versions. My Gmail app on my iPhone is up-to-date. I can't figure this out and it's driving me crazy!
Same issue - Watch Ultra 2, 26.0.2. iPhone 15P with current OS 26.0.1.
watch loses ALL haptics AND sound until it is placed on charger…. Then regains both, but only for 10 minutes before both sound and haptics stop working again. Infuriating!!
Yes, I set up as a new device. I’m thinking it’s something with iOS 26, I didn’t have this issue on the prior os.
