I updated my Mac Studio to Tahoe and since then my two USB DACs are no longer recognized with this version... knowing that I work with it for music production, I'm stuck, I could see other users with other types of DACs having the same problem... will a future update solve this problem? Thank you

I suggest checking the website of the device manufacturer(s) to see if there are updated drivers (assuming the devices use them). That is the usual cause of hardware peripherals having issues after a software update.

It finally works on my mytek dac on 26.1 .. may be check With your dac brand support … firmware update …
In that case, It may require a macOS update. Not sure how high on the priority list something like this would be, but it almost certainly won’t happen unless it’s reported to Apple.

first thing i did, there is no driver needed for this kind of device, always update mac os and work fine before tahoe.maybe a firmware update but no info at all . Thank you
FWIW, my AudioQuest Dragonfly Cobalt USB DAC is working fine with Tahoe. I have no others to test.

No firmware required. It is plug and play (well it was at least) on Mac OS
