MacBook Air 2025 M4 restarts instead of shutting down

I've just got a MacBook Air 2025 M4 and it restarts instead of shutting down and staying off when I hit Shut Down. Why? And how do I fix it? I tried unplugging any devices like external hard drives and that didn't work. I've also just updated to Tahoe in the hopes that that would work but that doesn't work either, it just restarts when I wanna shut it down. What's going on?
