Apple Podcasts not working in Android browser apps

Apple Podcasts Now Accessible via Web for Android and PC Users. I first tried listening via Firefox, but that didn't work. I signed in on Chrome and it worked for one day, and then stopped working the next. By all appearances, both Chrome and Firefox are synced with the player on my Macbook, but nothing happens when I tap play/resume in the browser. Any other Android users having this problem?
