How to Accept eCheck Payments on iPhone or iPad?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a reliable way to accept eCheck or ACH payments directly from my iPhone. I run a small business and sometimes need to collect payments when I’m on the go — not everyone wants to pay with a card.

Ideally, I’d like something that:

Works well on iPhone 17 Pro Max / iOS 18
Lets customers pay using checking accounts
Offers secure and fast processing
Doesn’t require a full POS terminal

Generally these services are web based or app based. My suggestion would be to look at more traditional services that permit check cashing such as Square, PayPal or Venmo. This allows you to test the waters and see if further development is warranted.

Apple Pay is not a credit card processor and they are not a bank/financial institution connected to the ACH network.

I’m a small business owner and use Square to process my credit card transactions and echecks via my website. I do use my iPhone to access Tap-to-Pay transactions, chip and swipe transactions. But I cannot accept a check in person.

Don’t be tempted to use your AppleCash as a stop-gap.
