How to disable iPhone call vibration on iOS 26?

Since I've updated every time I make a call and someone answers the phone now vibrates. What is the purpose of adding this to the update and depending on the answer, is there some way to turn that vibration off? Thanks in advance for a reply.

Yeah, this seems to be part of the new iOS 26 update - it’s a small haptic feedback that plays when a call connects. As of now, Apple hasn’t provided any option to disable it individually. The only workaround is to go to Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Vibration and toggle vibration off entirely, though that also affects notifications and other system feedback.

I think Apple added it to make it clearer when a call is answered, but it can definitely be distracting. I’ve noticed similar extra haptics appearing in some of my gaming apps too after the update, so it seems the system-level vibration settings are more active now than before. Hopefully, they’ll separate it in future updates.

the brief vibration when the call connects seems to be a new haptic feedback feature Apple added in recent iOS versions. Unfortunately, there’s no direct toggle to disable it right now under “Sounds & Haptics,” which is why many users are asking about it.

If you prefer smoother control over vibration feedback, you can try going to Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Vibration and turn it off completely, but that will disable all vibrations, not just call connect ones. Hopefully, Apple adds a separate option for this in the next update.

I experienced something similar while testing a few gaming apps recently - those subtle haptic feedbacks can sometimes trigger unexpectedly after system updates. Seems like iOS 26 fine-tuned vibrations more globally this time.
