AirPods Pro 3 – high-pitched whine / white noise only in left ear

Hey everyone,

just got the new AirPods Pro 3, and I’m running into a really strange issue.

Whenever I put in the left AirPod, I often get an immediate high-pitched whine or some white noise, which after a few minutes (2–5 mins) builds up into a louder, high-pitched beep. It sometimes also happens when I move my head or adjust the AirPod slightly.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Different ear tips, Two different units, both brand new, Fully reset the AirPods and re-paired them, Latest firmware installed

The weird part: If I turn off ANC and Transparency, the noise completely disappears. Also, when I let other people try my AirPods, they don’t hear anything — only I do. Never had this issue with AirPods Pro 1 or 2, so I’m really confused.

Does anyone here have any idea what could be causing this?
