What macOS version...?
Identify your iMac model - Apple Support
What brand/model CD/DVD drive are you using..?
Do all DVDs glitch or just the one that you are currently watching..?
Glitching can be cause by:
1) a dirty lens in the CD/DVD player.
2) a scratched, warped or dirty DVD.
Have you run a cleaning disc on the optical drive in question?
+1 on writing an effective post. You are not speaking to Apple on these forums, Apple is simply the host of the forum. They do not read or participate in them. We are all end users just like you and cannot read your mind so we rely on you to write a posts that adequately explains what the problem is and what you are experiencing otherwise we really can't do much to assist.
