How to fix jumping keyboard in Safari after iOS 26.0.1 update?

When I start to type on Safari, the keyboard jumps to the left but then returns smoothly back to normal. How can I fix this? I have updated to ios 26.0.1 and restarted the phone (ip17pm). 1st picture is immediately when I type the first letter, 2nd picture is about 0,3s after that, so the keyboard is sliding back to its normal place.

I am having the exact same problem, on several webpages.

Sometimes the text box flies around, other times the keyboard flies around.

It’s very difficult to comment/type in several webpages, including Facebook for instance. In case of Facebook, it’s impossible to see what I am typing without closing the keyboard. It’s also almost impossible to engage with a post in a sensible way. Unfortunately, it’s not just an issue with Facebook.

This new iOS has caused my full functional iPhone to start malfunctioning in every possible way. From battery drainage to Safari, everything that once worked magically stopped working.

It looks similar to the "one handed keyboard" but that's not quite right. Type with the onscreen keyboard on iPhone - Apple Support may have some suggestions.

Thanks for the reply. However, the keyboard goes normal after the first letter, so I think its a bug. Just wondering, if I can get it away with some trick…
