Can a small dent lower my MacBook Pro’s trade-in price?

I want to know if a small dent underneath the MacBook will affect the trade in value? its a small dent next to the rubber feet

No real way to know if that dent is considered a 'major dent' or not. Only Apple can make that determination. I recently traded in over a dozen Macs (I run a small company, had accumulated them with turnover), one had a little dent (probably a bit less than the one pictured, but noticeable) and it made no difference in the trade-in value (which was the same for that Mac as for a couple of others with the same specs and no dent). Note that I took them to an Apple Store, not through the mail.
