Music App fails to play music with "unknown error occurred (-12842)"

iOS 18.7.1

This issue started about a month ago.

Whenever I start playing any track the error below immediately appears

The operation could not be completed
unknown error occurred (-12842)

It does not matter what the track is, or the sound destination.

How can the error be unknown? It was captured. It even has a number.

Is there any solution for this besides waiting for Apple to fix it?
