Suspicious Apple Pay text message on my iPhone

I have had a text message from

+44***********3

it says.

Apple Pay: Your account is frozen due to a recent login attempt. To restore it and continue using our services, visit: h******kys


is this a scam.

It is just another one of the many scam/phishing messages that everyone receives. All you need to do is delete it or report if you wish. Never call a number or click a link and give any personal information in any message and you will never be a victim of a phishing attempt.


Note that these scam messages will frequently come from spoofed numbers so blocking/reporting does not mean you will not see the exact same message come from a different number. Very rarely would you even see another message from the same number where blocking/reporting is even effective.
