ios 26 arbitrarily music/stream pausing
Hello,
Wondering if anyone has been able to fix this on their own without waiting for some sort of patch?
I feel like I have done everything on my end such as: restarting iphone, reinstall apps, making sure background apps are set to “ on”.
It happens to every app I have used that can play or stream- spotify, youtube, twitch etc.
So I don’t think it’s a case of updating apps, but have made sure they are all up to date anyway.
I will usually just have it play put loud or on my speaker and go about my business and it will then pause at random.
The only two things I have not done so far, are change sleep/idle settings or completely reset.
I suspect the idle/sleep is what is causing this since I see others with the update notice the pausing happening while switching apps?
I would prefer not to use the factory reset even if I can trust my data remaining. Never had to do that with any updates previously, and think this may not fix the issue at all.
Hopefully a new patch comes up soon for this. My spouse was loving the update and encouraged me to do it, and now I am running into this 😂
I am also here to see how many more are running into this. Just trying to play my podcast while multi-tasking with other things and notice it going silent.
