The sidebar in the selection window in OS 26 is too small. I can adjust it when it opens, but these changes don't stick for the next time I open it.
Does anyone know how I might adjust it so that the adjustments are permanent?
The window in the image below appears when I select where to save the document in Numbers.

Odd. When I change the width of a sidebar in a dialog box, it 'sticks'. Even across apps, for example I just modified the Open dialog box here in Safari to make the sidebar very wide:
Then when I launched the Numbers app, it remained that way:
Perhaps not so odd, as with Tahoe I've been seeing differences in basic system behaviors between experiences users, such as the way Contacts cards backgrounds appear for me and dialabrain. I suspect there many unclear dependencies in Tahoe.
Don't get me started on contacts 🤣.
I cant copy (and paste) a contacts address and have it include the name, company and contacts position, as it did previously. Such a basic requirement, I would have thought.
