just changed to iphone 17 plus podcasts keep stopping

For the two weeks with my new iphone 17 plus Podcasts keep stopping every 5 minutes or less. Very frustrating I am used to the episode finishing and just moving to the next in the queue.

iPhone 17 Pro Max, iOS 26

I have a somewhat similar problem after downloading 26, my AirPods keep crackling after 2 mins. This happens on apple’s podcasts ONLY and only on my iPhone.
