Handoff not working after MacBook factory reset

This was working for the longest time and I went to get my macbook fixed and it was returned with a factory reset. Now it is not working.

Macbook Air M3 15.6.1 (24G90)

Iphone 16 Pro Max 18.6.2

Handoff On (both devices)

It is possible that required settings for handoff were reset. You might want to make sure that everything is set up according to: Use Handoff to continue tasks on your other devices - Apple Support
