Location keeps changing after updating to macos 26 Tahoe

After updating my macOS, my time zone was automatically changed to India, and I’m unable to change it back. I tried adjusting it manually and switching time servers, but nothing seems to help.

All my applications are now synchronized to the wrong time zone, which causes issues with scheduling and notifications. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

I also verified that my IP address and location are correctly detected by browsers and various websites, so the issue doesn’t seem to be related to my network or region settings.

I solved it through the terminal

1) sudo systemsetup -gettimezone (and see Time Zone: Asia/Kolkata)

2) sudo systemsetup -listtimezones (and find mine)

3) sudo systemsetup -settimezone Europe/Moscow
