Bluetooth fails to connect on some devices to which it previously did

Since updating my Macbook Pro (M1) and Macbook Air (M1) to Sequoia 15.7.1 (and iPhone to iOS 18.6.2), Bluetooth will no longer connect to my Sony STR-DH190 receiver as it had in the past. The receiver is identified as a device, but fails to connect. All the usual troubleshooting protocols for all devices have been attempted (restarts, proximity, etc).
