Syncing videos between windows pc and iPad using Apple devices app

using the Apple devices app on my windows PC I can sync photos to my iPad without problem, but it will not sync any videos at all. They are in the same folder and are just MOV files etc, but they simply never get downloaded to the iPad. It doesn’t matter if I select all or a specific folder, and of course include videos. Please help me to fix this ! Thanks

The most efficient and quickest alternative for local transfer is to use a USB thumb-drive (or other directly connected USB storage) to transfer large and numerous files between your iPad and PC.

For iPad, depending upon model, you simply require a Lightning or USB-C adapter with which to connect the USB storage device to your iPad - and then use the Files App to copy files to the connected USB storage. These Apple Adapters are ideal - each offering both a USB Type-A port to connect USB storage, and a pass-through power connection for the iPad's Power Adapter to be simultaneously connected (the latter providing adequate power for the connected USB storage device).

I have exactly the same issue. I can sync 45000+ photos in different folders but no associated videos, there does not seem to be any solutions available. I have been using the same process for years firstly on iTunes and now using Apple Devices. Any help appreciated !!
