I just, JUST, made a note which I decided to lock, it only required my FaceID to lock it, no password. I closed out of my phone for two minutes and now a password which I didn’t create before is now being required. I don’t want all of my notes to be locked, just a few so the “fix” where I change everything isn’t what I want. Do I have to start over?

It’s the password I made for a PREVIOUS note. Aghhh!!!! I don’t want that.

Too many users have become permanently locked out of some of their notes because they lost track of the password used for the lock. (And FaceID “allows” you for forget it)
You can set a password to lock all notes..Face ID or Touch ID effectively “link” to that password.
