Notes only Required FaceID to make now asking for password

I just, JUST, made a note which I decided to lock, it only required my FaceID to lock it, no password. I closed out of my phone for two minutes and now a password which I didn’t create before is now being required. I don’t want all of my notes to be locked, just a few so the “fix” where I change everything isn’t what I want. Do I have to start over?

If you are using a password in Notes, suggest that you read this article VERY carefully:

How to lock or unlock notes on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

“… Apple doesn't have access to locked notes and can’t help you access them if you forget your notes password.

If you forget your notes password, resetting the password doesn’t give you access to previously locked notes …”

Too many users have become permanently locked out of some of their notes because they lost track of the password used for the lock. (And FaceID “allows” you for forget it)
